Begin in Chengdu, where a panda encounter and the heritage of Mount Qingcheng and Dujiangyan open a window into Sichuan. Travel by Chinese high-speed rail to Xichang, trading the city’s energy for lake light, hot spring waterfalls, and Yi cultural experiences.
Return to Chengdu for People’s Park, a cup of gaiwan tea, and Kuanzhai Alley. Along the way, shared meals, neighborhood walks, and local stories make room for human connection.
